Goodbye LTA

27th November 2012

Here I am typing right live in office for the very last time. Today marks the end of my journey in LTA, time flies and I had been with them for the past 3 years 8 months. I still remembered I was not even 20 year old when I first join, all the way until now, 23! It took me alot of encouragement to step out of my comfort zone. It's now time to leave and explore the other world. I met really very nice & caring colleagues in LTA and I hope to meet good people in my new workplace. I've mixed-feeling right now :*(

 I had a few rounds of Farewell lunch with my fellow colleagues for the past few days. Really very thankful to them and appreciated very much! Everyday eat good food only! Haha..

My colleagues came to surprise me with a gift! Argh so touched & unexpected!

My treat from them haha! I ordered grilled Salmon, yummy!!



Some of them couldn't make it for the farewell lunch.



There're promotion going on right now.

Order 1 Main Course and you can choose your "side dish", it can be Ice-cream / Side dish / Drinks.
Most of us chose Ice-cream coz it's the most "wu hua"! LOL.



Later that night, went over to Bee's place and showed him the make-up box!
And started playing with it hahaha!

Don't you think he looked so sexy here?? LOL.



Dinner was at Ikea :)
Coz I needed to get same chocolate for my colleagues from GIANT.



Hahaha! He started playing around again!

We ordered a whole chicken, half white half roasted and 2 side dishes :)

Luckily we booked earlier on for a table, it was so packed!

Recieved another gift from my other 2 colleagues, I must say that I wasn't really closed to them so I'm rather surprised to received from them. Thanks Freda & Amy! :)



During lunchtime, Elaine who used to work together in the same office had asked for a transferred to Site Office, came to pick me up for lunch :) So sweet of her!

At 3.30pm, I went Admin Service to handover my Staff Pass & HR for Exit Interview.
Received a Certificate of Service from LTA. Haha!

I no longer get to enjoy free transport already :(
Need to get a ezlink card before I start work! Something I need to get use to.



The Staff Pass which I had been holding onto for the past 3years 8 months.



After I came back, started going round office and distribute the Kinder Bueno Chocolate to my fellow colleagues as an appreciation.

Really happy working with them, knowing that I won't be with them from tomorrow onwards makes me feel sad, or rather mix-feeling. It's not easy saying Goodbye as we been working together for a long time. But I know I gotta be strong and move on to a better place.





I'm now enjoying my 5 days break (wannabe tai-tai, basically doing nothing haha!) before I officially start work next Monday, 3 December 2012. Actually I intend to start on 5 Dec as our original plan is to go for a 3D2N short trip to Malacca but the Hotel we requested, no more vacant :( So we decided to cancel this trip and go to a further country next year after he ORD. Anyway good news, I can start work on the same day with Cheryll!

I've decided to forgo my Dec Bonus (1.7 btw!) to join the new company. I know it's a little pity but I have to think of the long-term and I believe I can earn back my lost within a few months. All I hoped for now is to meet good people there and able to adapt to the new environment as soon as I can, a better future.
